Description
Air Permitting Basics covers the basics of air quality permitting (excluding modeling, which is covered in Modeling for Permits). Aimed at plant and project managers, the course covers construction permitting, operating permits, legal issues, and regulations pertaining only to special areas of the country or special equipment. Air Permitting Basics provides a ground-level understanding of the myriad of air regulations that stem from the Clean Air Act and is broken into three lessons, which will be covered over the one day course. Numerous examples will be used throughout the day to illustrate each topic. Students are encouraged to bring up their specific situations for use as additional examples.
This is a one day, web-based course. It will run from 9am to 4pm Central Daylight Time, with a one hour lunch break. Participants will log onto the training via the internet and be able see the instructor’s computer and hear her voice as she presents the lessons. They will also be able to ask questions during or after each lesson. Registered participants will receive detailed login instructions prior to the training date.
