Dick has been with Bowman Environmental (now Oris Solutions) since 1993. As Director of Software Services, he has been a principle developer of the BEEST software product as well as numerous other software products offered by BEE-Line Software. He has also been the primary contact at BEE-Line for providing meteorological data for use in various air dispersion models. Since 2000, he has additionally been the primary customer support contact at BEE-Line Software. He has also been an instructor at numerous training courses conducted by BEE-Line Training, and developed the Accidental Release training course.
Prior to joining Bowman Environmental, Dick spent 15 years in environmental marketing for supercomputer companies such as Control Data, ETA Systems and Convex Computer. He has also worked at both the Air Force and Navy weather forecast centers in operational and software development capacities. Dick received a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from St. Louis University in 1967, and a Master of Science degree in Meteorology from Texas A&M University in 1970.
